4r + 2 = 26

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract 2 frm both sides 4r+2-2=26-2 4r=24 divide both sides by 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4r = 24 r =24/4 = 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4r + 2 = 26 4r = 26 - 2 4r = 24 r = 24/4 r = 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4r + 2 = 26 -2 -2 ------------ 4r = 24 --------- r = 6

Yes @amber517 what you did was true.

thanks

just a side note @amber517 if you want to check your answer is correct or not. put the value of r in original equation the both sides of equations must be equal if your answer is correct ! since r=6 put in 4r+2=26 4(6)+2=24 24+2=26 26=26 since both sides are equal so it means your answer r=6 is correct !:)
