Can anyone clarify what these two questions are asking for?...
"Factor all x and y" followed by lengthy polynomial
vs. "Factorization" followed by lengthy polynomial
Is one asking me to factor AND solve for x and y, while the other only wants me to factor?

i think the first is asking to just factor out all variables x and y where the other is just asking to factor which will probably be a single variable polynomial.
