is there any problem with the 'bumping' of a question?

Nope, but usually, here are two temporary problems associated.

• When you post a question, it shows a four-digit number for bumping at that instant.
Fix: Refresh—this is just a problem with the template.

• When you click the bump button, you don't see it on the top.
Fix: Refresh—it's just you who doesn't see the question on top.

We have seen this happen, and it has been reported. Oddly enough, it only seems to affect international users. I've yet to hear of someone within the US experiencing this issue, so my suspicion is it has something to do with international date formatting. :\

btw @farmdawgnation i think @rebeccaskell94 reported the same thing and if i recall she "claims" to be from the U.S.

Uh...No, I'm from the Arctic Circle.
And I reported that it didn't bump. It said I could, but it didn't. I haven't had that problem again, though.

this show your bumping time for ur question...
for Eg- 4.32...it mean ki question 4min 32sec me bump ho jayega...
tumhare case me kuch error hai jo is site p common baat hai...
so don't worry..

Are you sure yr system time is right? That's what we use to calculate the difference, so if yr computer's clock is off, it would skew the bump timer. Regardless, we have heard of this problem a lot so we'll take a look. @ParthKohli gave some interesting scenarios that we'll try to verify, but the second one seems really odd to me.
