x – 2y – 2z = –3
x + y + 3z = –2

ok subtract equation 3 from 2
x-2y-2z-(x+y+3z)=-3-(-2)
-3y-5z=-1 ...........A

multiply the equation 2 by 2
4x-4y-8z=-6
subtract this from equation 1
4x-y-3z-(4x-4y-8z)=-3-(-6)
3y+5z=3 ..............B
solve equations A and B
