Two cars are 210 miles apart. they leave at the same time, traveling toward each other, and meet in 3 hours. If the rate of one car is 10 miles per hour more than the other, what is the rate of the slower car?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

total distance=210 assuming that the speed of one car is x then the speed of other car will be x+10, total distance=(x+10)*3+3x

are you able to continue after this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait, give me a few minutes to try to solve please
