Someone Check This Please! Graph the function f(x) = –x^4 – 4 by hand and describe the end behavior. .. first i made a table with x values to get y and i used -2, -1, 0, 1, 2 for x and for the y i got 4, -3, -4, -3, 12 so the points would be .. (-2,4) .. (-1, -3) .. (0, -4) .. (1, -3) .. (2, 12) and i graphed it and both arrows went up looking like this U

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

this should like an upside-down U because go negative number before x^2 and should pass through y axis at y=-4

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

* because of negative number before x^4

OpenStudy (ganpat):

y = f(x) = –x^4 – 4 for x = 0, y = -4 x = 1 , y = -5 x = 2, y = -20... so on.. now lets plot the graph..
