\[\cos A=-2/5 \] then \[\cos ^{2} A= 4/25\] also \[1- \cos ^{2} A= \sin ^{2} A= 1- 4/25\] from here you have value of sin divide it by value of cos as in 3rd quadrant tan is always positive so answer should be positive. . . @IloveCharlie
