For every positive integer n, n!= n x (n-1) x (n-2) x .... x 1. For example, 4!= 4x3x2x1=24. What is the value of 29!/27! ?

If you write them out you will see cancellation 29!=29*28*27! because 27! gives the remaining terms up to 1. So 29!/27!=29*28

yep.. 29*28*27*26*.....*2*1/27*26*25*...*2*1 =29*28
