OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't even know... What do I do?

@Hero can you help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

who knew high school algebra could be so confusing?

hero (hero):

Hint: subtract 4x from all sides

hero (hero):

That will leave you with 1 < 4x - 3 < 5

hero (hero):

Now add 3 to all sides to get 4 < 4x < 8

hero (hero):

Finally divide all sides by 4 to get 1 < x < 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then divide 4?

hero (hero):

easy

Thanks @Hero !
