what is (x-42)(13x+15)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use FOIL (front, outside, inside, what's left) First do x*13x, then x*15, then -42*13x, then -42*15.\[(x-42)(13x+15)=13x^2+15x-546x-630\] Then simplify by combining like terms (only 15x and -546x will combine) so you end up with \[13x^2-531x-630\]
