Sheryl is observing ovarian slides taken from a female ape. All the cells show crossover chromosomes. What is this stage?

The clues in the question are "ovarian" and "crossover chromosomes". The only time you really see chromosomes is when cells are dividing so one of two processes has taken place: mitosis or meiosis. Our clues suggest meiosis since ovaries produce gametes (known as oocytes or simply eggs). I'll leave it up to you to figure out which stage in meiosis has crossovers between homologous chromosomes in pairs. Let me know if you need more help.
