Divide by 2 first. X^2 + 8x + 25 = 0 Then do quadratic equation. It's not factorable. You could even do quadratric without dividing by 2 first. (-b±√(b^2-4ac))/2a

OpenStudy (cunningham2000):

a=2 b=16 c=50
