Solve a 30-60-90 triangle where b=12. Find a and c.

OpenStudy (cunningham2000):

I'm assuming b is opposite the 60 degree angle. If it is then \[x \sqrt{3}=12 \] x = a and 2x = c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats correct, b is opposite the 60 degree angle and is 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Isn't a found by taking half of b?

OpenStudy (anikate):

ok lets help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know Anikate, its question 94 in the packet
