jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you already tagged me and what are the choices?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Reason #1 - Pythagorean Theorem Reason #2 - Transitive Property of Equality Reason #1 - Definition of a Right Triangle Reason #2 - Reflexive Property of Equality Reason #1 - Pythagorean Theorem Reason #2 - Reflexive Property of Equality Reason #1 - Definition of a Right Triangle Reason #2 - Transitive Property of Equality

i believe is A ! am i correct ?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

This will be the last question because I have to take off Reason #1 - Pythagorean Theorem -- because the pythagorean theorem is a^2+b^2 = c^2, but they're using different variables in a different order Reason #2 - Transitive Property of Equality -- since x = y and y = z implies x = z is the transitive property of equality So you are correct

i Have One More Question !

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

alright

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Complete the proof by entering the correct statements and reasons.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

with line 4, angle BED congruent to angle BCA because of the corresponding angles postulate in line 6, we jump to the conclusion because it's the last step BD/BA = BE/BC and this is by the SSS similarity postulate

Thanks Bro

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you're welcome

i Have couple More Questions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which statement and reason can be used to fill in the numbered blank spaces?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. ∡BDE ≅ ∡BAC 2. Corresponding Parts of Similar Triangles 1. ∡BDE ≅ ∡BCA 2. Alternate Exterior Theorem 1. ∡BDE ≅ ∡BAC 2. Corresponding Angles Postulate 1. ∡BDE ≅ ∡BCA 2. Corresponding Parts of Similar Triangles
