How do I convert 110100101010 to decimal form? The answer is 3370 but I cannot figure out how to do this. The answer I got my self was 1688. This is how I worked it out -> 1024 + 512 + 0 + 128 + 0 + 0 + 16 + 0 + 6 + 0 + 2 = 1688... What am I doing wrong?

did u convert from binary to decimal or octal to decimal??

binary to decimal.

its very easy...u just make a silly mistake while calculating.......this will be......2048+1024+0+256+0+0+32+0+8+0+2+0=3370

OpenStudy (anonymous):

110100101010 -> 1*2048 + 1*1024 + 0*512 + 1*256 + 0*128 + 0*64 + 1*32+ 0*16+ 1*8 + 0*4 + 1*2+ 0*1
