combine the expressions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[a \sqrt{x}+b \sqrt{y}-c \sqrt{x}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it \[(a+c)\sqrt{2x}+^b \sqrt{y}\]

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

hmm close...

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

\[(a-c) \sqrt x + b\sqrt y\] mistakes: 1) it should be a - c NOT a+c 2)when adding \(\sqrt x\) you dont change the radicand.. it stays sqrt x
