ok so x is a variable. when you plug something in for x and then do the math you get a y right?
-3x+2
so if i plug in x=0 I get y = 2 thus the point (0,2)

Start from the lowest number for x i.e. x=2 U will get (0,2) , then put x=1, U will get (1,-1) and so on...... Each pair corresponding to a certain value of x and y....
