i am not sure, what exactly u intent to ask.. well, you have answer now, so you tilt that any how u like.. But to approach to 900.. Venn diagram itself would be sufficient.. and use that Union Formula.. A U B = A + B + A N B... (N means intersection)...

yes.... Because I knew that was the right answer and according to my calculation... 900 only satisfies the whole problem ..... and If u try the same method for others. it willn't work or satisfy the given data in question...
yes.. thats the point.. if you try with random approach, it will be time consuming right ?? say u start with 1500, it doesnt work, than 1200... and at last 900..
