The function f(x)=x+π is a polynomial. A. True B. False

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what defines a polynomial?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A polynomial is an expression of finite length constructed from variables (also called indeterminates) and constants, using only the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and non-negative integer exponents. However the division by a constant is allowed, because the multiplicative inverse of a non zero constant is also a constant.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if pi is throwing you; just consider it a constant .... say pi=3 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So A.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

OpenStudy (amistre64):
