Does any one knows the description of a triangular pyramid to the two dimensional base polygon?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

its just a pyramid, whose base can be any of triangle rectangle pentagon hexagon ... any polygon

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

all sides rise up and meet at one point

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

this is a pyramid with triangle as base, you can have any other polygon as base

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

|dw:1343758519339:dw|

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

you get the idea.. .

so what about the number of a vertices is on more than the number of sides of the base polygon, would that be one?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

thats right. that one extra vertex is the top one in the sky !!
