how to solve linear system using substitution 2x+2y=6 and -3x+5y+-33

can u re-write the other equation? -3x+5y+-33??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all u have to do is take the first eq. and solve for x, which is x=6-2y/2 and plug in 2nd eq where every you see x's. Then solve for y and plug it back to first eq. to get the value of x.
