Jon decides to take his 7 year old son to the movies. The price for the adult ticket is 2.75 dollars more than the price for the child's ticket. If you represent the price for the child's ticket using the variable "x", how would you write the algebraic expression for the adult ticket price?

So you have the child's ticket price = x. Adding 2.75 gives you the adult price. So it is just x+2.75
