What is the sum of the measures of the interior angles of a regular polygon where a single exterior angle measures 36°?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

36 degrees for the interior angles as well.

I past up the question, cant go back. but that was not one of the answer choices

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah crap, yeah my bad. calculator error. I get 144 degrees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is a 10 sided polynomial. sum of external angles must be 360 degrees. Each on is 36 degrees. So we need 10 sides to get 36*10=360. Further to my above post, EACH internal angle is 144 degrees. The sum of all of them is 10*144=1440 degrees.
