Well, rap stands for Rhythm and Poetry ..
It's personal opinion, but I think some forms of rap could be considered literature.

Technically, literature is written work only. Rap could perhaps be considered ltierature if it originates in written form first.

Rap could be considered as literature since its mostly rhyming but its the way that they are read or said that makes it different
