What is null space?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All vectors x that satisfy Ax=0 "span" a space which is called the null-space of the matrix A. In other words, the x's combine the columns of A to produce a 0-vector. I would strongly suggest you to check out Prof. Strang's video lecture #6 for a thorough explanation!
