the frisr step if we order the data 4.2 5.4 6.9 7.0 7.3 8.5 9.2 9.4 16.1 17.0 we have 10 datas to get mean we have to find the data in the middle , which is between the data number 5 and 6 so we look that the fifth data is 7.3 and the sixth 8.5
