Both are general types of the others?

Like Linear and Bisection search are examples of guess and check?

And is Newton-Raphson (Newton’s method) an example of Successive approximation ?

Newton's Method is an example of successive approximation. Successive Approximation itself is getting closer to an answer until it is within an acceptable distance of the real answer( shown by epsilon in the lectures).

Each iteration you generate a guess and check whether it is within an acceptable distance of the real answer.
