open source operating system.... it is said that we can change the source code and develop new operating systems....but how??

well i dont think so :/ because although it does not have copy right but there is still some privacy and protected material there.. i think you can develop for it but cant drive a new one! :/ so i dont think it is possible correct me if i am wrong

You can do yes, for example if you are good in C/C++ and you download Linux, so inside this distribution of Linux you get the Kernel (source), and you can modify it. But creating an OP isn't that easy!

Of course creating an OS isn't that easy, atleast it needs a group of programmers and concept-ors, guess one day my teacher told us that in Microsoft, a group of engineers take of month just to design the Start menu and icon. (I'm not sure if this information is true or not haha I just put it here!)
