Write the equation of the line which passes through (–4, 2) and is parallel to y = –x + 6 in slope-intercept form. x1 = –4, y1 = 2, and m = –1 y – y1 = m(x – x1) y – 2 = –1[x – (–4)] y – 2 = –1(x + 4) y – 2 = –1x – 4 y – 2 = –1x – 4 +2 +2 slope-intercept form. y = –1x - 2 I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF I DID IT CORRECT. PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY CHECK IT
