help?!?! There are four ways that a system of equations can be solved: graphing, substitution, elimination, or using Cramer’s Rule. Use three or more sentences to describe the process that would be used for solving the system using each of the four methods. You may wish to explain why one method would be better than another for certain problems. Your response should contain a minimum of twelve sentences, three for each method.

...wow...math essays,...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i hate it because i barley know what im doing now... how am i to explain it lol

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i hate it because i have difficulties with expressing math in words...im not good with memorizing fancy terms =_=

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same here!!!

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i can probably give a brief summary of the first three in one sentence...i barely know cramer's rule (i hated matrices)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont like em either

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

graphing - the solution to the equation can be solved by graphing by finding the points of intersections of the graphs elimination - one would multiply a whole equation by a certain number and then add it to the other equation wherein a variable will be canceled and the other variable/s can be solved from there substitution - one will substitute an expression for a certain variable to lessen the number of unknown variables to be solved in an equation

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

you can probably say some shiz to make it longer =)))

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

again...like i said...im not good with fancy terminologies for math so pardon if im somewhat inaccurate in my descriptions =))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol thanks!!!!!!! what i was gonna do lol

OpenStudy (amistre64):

there are more than 4 ways ....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i just need the 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

guessing?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

prolly could just use the sentences in the material that you study that coincides with this stuff. I dont think they are expecting you to write a doctorial thesis yet :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

prolly lol

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

yeah they just expect a masteral thesis :p lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha

Cramer's rule: write the equations in this form ax + by = e cx + dy = f Compute three determinants a b c d a e c f e b f d combine them in the proper way http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cramer's_rule Notice that the first one must be unequal to 0
