so the first one: use the distance formula: \[d = \sqrt{(y _{1}-y _{2})^{2}+(x _{1}-x _{2})^{2}}\] \[d = \sqrt{(6--12)^{2}+(-4-8)^{2}} = \sqrt{18^{2}+12^{2}} = \sqrt{468} =21.63units\] now do the same for 2-5, then we'll discuss the rest
