Do you know the distance formula?
To refresh your memory:\[d=\sqrt{(x _{1}-x _{2})^{2}+(y _{1}-y _{2})^{2}}\]
Plug in the x&y 1&2 values and solve. let me know what your get so we can verify.
for the problem 2. It is about the same except two of the sides can be solved by inspection. Side BC is 6 units long as it is at y=2 and the x difference is +3 - (-3) = 6 Side AB is 4 units long. Perimeter is the sum of the three sides, two sides were just shown to you, the third side is worked using the distance formula.
