electron microscope is not used to view living cell specimens because it will magnifies many much times whereas the cell is large in size

Ifly is right the most important reason that we can't use living cell under the electronic microscope is that killing the cell in order to fix and prime it for electronic emissions

You cannot view live specimens because the necessary preparation kills cells.

you cannot use it to view live specimens it will kill them, for that you would have to use a light microscope
