please, i did this assignment before and i got most of them wrong, could you show me how i can do it and the right answer, please? http://curriculum.kcdistancelearning.com/courses/GEOMx-HS-A09/a/unit03/resources/docs/DistanceMidpointFormulas_WritingAssignment.pdf
1. Use the distance formula, \[\sqrt{(x _{2}-x _{1})^{2}+(y _{2}-y _{1})^{2}}\] 2. Use the equation from problem one but utilize the three distinct points. 3. Figure out the coordinates of points X and U by counting on the x and y axes. Draw lines if you need to. Then use these points in the equation from problem one. 4. Same as 3. 5. Same as 4 but subtract the length of CD from AB. 6. Use the formula \[x=(x _{1}+x _{2})/2, y=(y_{1}+y_{2})/2\] 7. Same as 6. 8. Same as 3, 4, 5 but use the midpoint formula (question 6) instead of the distance formula. 9. Plug the given points into the midpoint formula (question 6) and solve for x. Hint: y-coordinates don't matter for this problem. 10. Just add the two together. Your answer will be in terms of x (unless I'm just an idiot and not solving this correctly).
