If 8 = x and x = y, then 8 = y is an example of which algebraic property?
what do you think is it?
the one that says if \(a=b\) and \(b=c\) then \(a=c\)
Symmetric Property Transitive Property Reflexive Property Commutative Property of Multiplication
symmetric property is if a = b then b = a reflexive property is a = a transitive property is if a = b and b= c then a = c coommutative property of multiplication is ab = bc
commutative property of multiplication is ab = ba*
does that help?
wouldn't hurt to know these, there are not that many symmetric if \(a=b\) then \(b=a\) reflexive \(a=a\) multiplication has nothing to do with this transitive: if \(a=b\) and \(b=c\) then \(a=c\)
mmmmm i still dont understand which on it is
why dont you read the WHOLE thread? im sure you'll figure it out if you do..
symmetric
????????
@Gabylovesyou it is called "transitive"
you didnt read the whole post did you @gabb
@Gabylovesyou
it is commutative prperty
a+b=b+a this is a example of commutative property
satellite already said in his first comment tht it would be the answer that's in the form a = b and b= c then a =c and satellite and i both mentioned what that property is...
commutative
READ. THE. WHOLE. POST.
stop guessing
transitive
...i dont know if you're still guessing or you finally read the whole post... anyway..that's the right one
yesss i read it :) sorry i just didnt understand but now i do
