Darling.. see that the triangle inside is an isosceles triangle...because its two sides are equal to each other, each having length equal to the radius of the circle.... The vertex angle of the triangle is given x=40.. now you have to find the two other angles.. which is equal to Y... So, x+y+y180 or, 40+2y=180 or, 2y=140 So, y=140=2=70.. okay.. But don't write the answer only.. try to understand the logic behind it.
