OpenStudy (anonymous):

i cannot understand by seeing this http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=simplify+%28x%2B3+%28x%2B3%29%5E3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

didnt you already ask this lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I went there and still dono understand it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes idid but did notsolveit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on pascals triangle your gonna start on the line that has the 4 as the second number. so your coefficients are 1,4,6,4,1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no that link doesnt help since it doesnt show how you got the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is 1461

OpenStudy (anonymous):

those number will be your coefficients. your problem equals (x+3)^4. since your problem is to the fourth power youll go to pascals triangle and find the number line that has a 4 on the second number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so now its just a pattern your solution will be x^4+x^3(3)+x^2(3^2)+x(3^3)+3^4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops forgot to put in the coefficients. put a 1 in front of the x^4, a 4 in front of the x^3, 6 in front of the x^2....
