Factor the following polynomial completely. c^2 - 4d^2 = well I got.. (c-2d)(c+2d) but its wrong.. But when I work out my answer, I get the original problem. What have I done wrong??

Parth (parthkohli):

That's right.

Parth (parthkohli):

Well, if it is\[c^2 - (4d)^2 \]then it is wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c^2-(2d)^2 use formula a^2-b^2-(a+b)(a*b)

Parth (parthkohli):

But as far as I see here, there is no mistake.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it is just d being squared, not 4d.

Parth (parthkohli):

Then you are correct!\[\Huge \ddot \smile \]

Yayy! Thanks :) Haha
