|dw:1344018121166:dw| well m not very sure on formula of Parabola, But in this type of questions, what you can do is , take a point, substitute its x & y co - ordianates in equation`s and get ur answer.. overe here its x = 02 and y = 5.. so graph would be.. y = −2x2 − 8x − 3 .. as the equation is balanced if we put -2 and 5..
