Using complete sentences, describe how you would find all possible rational zeros of the polynomial function f(x) = 4x3 – 5x2 + 9x – 6.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We will start of by looking at the coefficient of the largest power of x and the constant. (That will be 4 and 6.) We will then list down all their factors. (For 4, that will be 1,2,4 and for 6, that will be 1,2,3,6) All the possible rational zeros will be all the possible values formed by dividing one of the factors of the constant with one of the factors of the coefficient of the largest power of x.
