Practice test question (calculus/optimisation): A childs cubby house is to be built with no floor and a flat roof. The volume of the cubby house is 12m^3. The cubby needs to be between 2metres and 3 metres wide. a) Write an equation for the volume of the shed using the variables and values indicated above. The rest of this is reasonably simple however im not sure how to put 2

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[V=l.w.h=12 [\text m^3]\] \[2≥w≥3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thats what i got too, so then you could say that h is 12/w^2

because this is an 11 mark question theres a fair few sections, but the questions are too open ended. its tough to decide what its actually asking. None the less thanks for the help @UnkleRhaukus
