-4y + 17 29 Part 1: Solve the inequality above. Part 2: Describe the graph of the solution.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you sure that's the question? I don't understand it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what inequality is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-4y + 17<=29

OpenStudy (anonymous):

srry i forgot to fix that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay solve for it like you do a equality sign. Once you get your answer, I will show you how to graph it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to be honest i just dont understand how to solve it at all.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you solve for the y value just like how it is normally solved when an "=" is given? if so, then you can do this by yourself, just remember the rules.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so -17 on both sides, then divide -4 to both sides. And i get -3 then flip the <= sign to >=.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so would it be open circle on -3 shading to the left????
