it's a circuit wherein all the elements are in parallel , and a resistance is fitted in series across which a voltmeter is connected to measure potential drop across R ... so as to find the current across the load as the load that is bulb which is connected in series with the resistor

well here it is |dw:1344109672688:dw| there will be no current in voltmeter ideally because voltmeter is supposed to measure potential drop so it's internal resistance will be very high to block current path (ideally)...so here is your current distribution
