You should click the report abuse button. That sends a notification to all the moderators on the site. When you report abuse, it gives you the chance to describe what form the abuse takes - and it makes it so much easier for us to jump in quickly and figure out what is up if you do so!

That is why we should guide the askers to a solution thru their interactions so that they wrok out the problem for themselfs.  If you feel that your participation is somehow "bad", then it would be best to just not participate in the askers question.
