Which line has the equation y= -x=3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you mean y=-x+3 or y=-x-3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it's y=-x+3, the answer is line DE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is what i mean y=-x+3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also this one too plz, Which line has the equation x-3y=3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For that, solve for y first. x-3y=3 x-3=3y (1/3)x-1=y y=(1/3)x-1 Line GE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In a y=mx+b equation, m is teh slope and b is teh y-intercept so if asked to graph a line, try to converted teh equation into this form to make it easier.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like how so?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh my bad and thanks alot i get it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

isolate the y variable to one side. For example x-3y=3 x-3y+3y-3=3-3+3y x-3=3y (x-3)/3=3y/3 (1/3)x-1=y y=(1/3)x-1 m = 1/3 b = -1

No problem
