Some snake venoms are harmful because they contain enzymes that increase the rate of a reaction that destroys blood cells and tissue cells. The damage caused by such snakebite could best be slowed down by A.applying ice to the bite area in order to decrease the temperature of the cells B.inducing vomiting in order to remove all of the stomach content C.drinking large amounts of water in order to hydrate the cells D.elevating the bite area in order to increase the number of blood cells present
a i believe, but let me double check so i can explain.
ok
ok everything im seeing is saying don't put ice on a bite, but thats the only logical answer we aren't talking first aid(: so i would go with a.
I would say that it is either A or C but not for the reasons there. A would be because decreasing the temperature of the poison would decrease the rate of reaction of the enzyme. But it could also be C (although not by drinking, but pouring water over the infected area) because introducing water into the area dilates the amount of venom there.
thank yu so much :P
It's probably A ^^
