dies self induction process occur in transformer ? if yes then explain how ..??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*does=*dies

OpenStudy (hba):

Induction occurs only if the wire moves at right angles to the direction of the magnetic field.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm so there should be only mutual induction not self induction right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hba have you seen many wires moving in a transformer? @heena, self induction occurs in a transformer as far as each coil is affected by the flux it creates. The flux created that affects the other coil would be the mutual induction .
