why do political parties have such an impact on public policy? just need a few examples to give me a jump start on an essay. don't need full thoughts just fragments, but i wont be biased.
http://www.soc.washington.edu/users/burstein/Burstein_Linton.pdf i honestly cant think of any examples right now im kinda brain dead/:
Because political parties are like factions and they get people to join and dedicate them. You know the name "Liberal" and "Conservative" well they both have different views and when there are alot of conservatives then the more supporters more votes meaning that party with a majority gets their policies and laws passed.
So things like national health care a social security and welfare were created when the liberals held a massive following and Military increase, tax cuts and lowering goverment aid programs was a conservative policy.
Oh sorry im using a slang term. Liberal = democrate and conservative = republican.
its all i good i understood thank you.
