Curtis is buying a figurine that is 3 inches high according to the box. The picture on the box is 5 centimeters high and 4 centimeters wide. What proportion could you use to determine the width of the figurine?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The ratio of the height and length is constant. Height/Length = 5/4 . New height = 3 inches, new width = x inches. => 3/x=5/4. So x= 12/5 inches = 2.4 inches.
