why does this site hang so often? and sometimes, it just doesn't load!
also, in Chrome, i'm having troubles with the 'Pencil' option in my Draw.....and thus am forced to use Line for everything, which isn't really comfortable. can something be done?

There has been a large amount of hanging/refreshes today + the past few days and probably the next few as well. Checkout out @shadowfiend's post right below yours. Unfortunately, we are experimenting with a lot of new stuff, so things will be a little unstable at the moment. BUT! the idea is that once we're done, things should be buttery smooth (or margarine, if you prefer). Pardon our dust, and believe us when we say that this is all gonna result in some awesomeness.

Also, what's the trouble with the pen? What operating system are you using and what version of chrome? I'm on Chrome 21.0.1180.57 on a mac and let's give it a test:
